Market action

A concise summary of the latest filing, transaction, or market-moving item.

Omnicom Group Inc. reported an insider ownership change involving Louis F. Januzzi on July 16, 2026. The filing states that Januzzi acquired Omnicom common stock interests through a grant of restricted stock units, or RSUs, payable solely in shares of the company’s common stock, which has a par value of $0.15 per share. The RSU award is subject to a five-year vesting schedule. According to the explanatory note, 20% of the granted units will vest on August 15, 2027, with an additional 20% vesting on each of the next four anniversaries of that date. That means the award is scheduled to vest in equal annual installments through August 15, 2031, assuming the applicable vesting conditions are satisfied. The document excerpt does not provide the number of RSUs granted, the transaction code, any reported acquisition price, or Januzzi’s beneficial ownership after the transaction. Because the award consists of restricted stock units payable only in common stock, it represents an equity-compensation grant rather than an open-market purchase. The filing was signed on July 20, 2026, by Eric J. Cleary as attorney-in-fact for Louis F. Januzzi. The action matters because RSU grants are a common way for public companies to compensate and retain executives or insiders while aligning their interests with shareholders over a multi-year period.
