T-Mobile US, Inc. (TMUS) reported a senior leadership reshuffle in a Form 8-K, announcing that Chris Sambar has been appointed Chief Enterprise Officer, effective no later than October 14, 2026. In the new role, Sambar will oversee T-Mobile’s enterprise and government businesses and will report directly to Srinivasan Gopalan, the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer. The appointment is part of a broader reallocation of executive responsibilities. André Almeida, currently Chief Broadband, Enterprise and Emerging Business Officer, will transition to Chief Marketing, Brand, and Broadband Officer. In that position, Almeida will lead marketing, communications and broadband operations, while continuing to oversee certain enterprise responsibilities during Sambar’s onboarding period. T-Mobile also said Dr. John Saw, its Chief Technology Officer, will expand his responsibilities to include product engineering and cybersecurity, in addition to his existing technology duties. The change places more technical product and security oversight under Saw’s purview. Separately, Michael J. Katz, T-Mobile’s Chief Business and Product Officer, has decided to step away from his current position effective July 8, 2026, after more than two decades in leadership roles at the company. Katz will remain with T-Mobile as a strategic advisor through December 2026. The company disclosed the developments under Item 5.02 of Form 8-K, which covers departures, appointments and compensatory arrangements involving directors and certain officers.
